Job Summary:

The Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) is responsible for leading and managing all sales, marketing, and communications activities to drive revenue growth and brand awareness. This includes setting sales strategies, managing key accounts, overseeing digital and offline marketing, and leading a high-performing team to ensure the hotel meets or exceeds revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Develop and implement annual sales strategies and action plans aligned with the hotel’s business goals.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets across all segments (corporate, MICE, leisure, OTA, etc.).
  • Maintain relationships with key clients, travel agencies, DMCs, and corporate partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence, especially in international and regional markets.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor performance, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Marketing & Communications:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan, including online/offline campaigns, promotions, and seasonal offers.
  • Oversee the hotel's digital marketing efforts: website, social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and online reputation.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies and media to ensure brand visibility and positive public perception.
  • Ensure brand compliance across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Revenue & Budget Management:
  • Work closely with the Revenue Manager and GM to optimize pricing, distribution, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and manage the Sales & Marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI on campaigns and initiatives.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate the Sales & Marketing team.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture, motivating the team to exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure clear communication, collaboration, and alignment across departments.

Yêu cầu công việc

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in sales & marketing in luxury or 5-star hotels, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong network within the travel industry, corporate sectors, and MICE market, especially in Vietnam and Asia-Pacific.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue, team leadership, and strategic planning.
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English (both spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of hospitality systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, CRM, channel managers) is an advantage.
