MarCom Internship

• Provides exceptional services to guests and internal customers in other department at all time to maintain positive interactions with good working relationships.
• Assists the Director of Marketing Communications to ensure that the Marketing Communications activities are aligned with the Corporate Marketing Strategy.
• Has primary responsibility for updating and maintaining current website content
• Manages hotel membership status in business chambers and other related organizations
• Creates, edits, and distributes hotel promotional materials such as invitations, fliers, posters, and advertisements as directed.
• Maintains records of all media and purchase agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel.
• Updates and compile press list.
• Prepares the monthly Marcom Report.
• Works with other departments to assess and support their internal and external communication needs.
• Develops good community contacts among government, businesses, associations, etc. and supports ad-hoc events and or projects in the community.
• Understands and strictly adhere to Rules and Regulations established in the Associate Handbook and the hotel’s policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety
• Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
