Beverage Manager

o Provide guidance and assistance to the beverage/bar associates by helping them in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.

o Oversee the service standards in all bars ensuring that they conform to the requisite standards and meet or exceed customer expectations.

o Liaise with stewarding, housekeeping and engineering to ensure that the operation runs smoothly in areas of joint responsibility.

o Prepare duty rosters, and implements vacation and public holiday schedules.

o Assist in the planning and execution of promotional activities as directed.

o Maximize revenue in the outlet bars by implementing upselling procedures.

o Monitor and controls the financial performance of the outlet bars by controlling costs and expenses.

o Participate in the preparation of the outlet’s annual departmental budget as directed.

o Prepare and maintains a database of beverage recipes.

o Requisition beverages according to predetermined par stock levels.

o Assist in monitoring and controlling the hotel’s OE inventory and participates in inventory taking.

o Extensive knowledge of beverage working practices in a 5-star hospitality setting or/and luxury dinning/lounge in upper scale concepts.
