Banquet Attendant

Event Setup & Preparation

Assist in setting up banquet rooms according to event orders and instructions.

Arrange tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and service stations properly and neatly.

Ensure all equipment and supplies are clean, stocked, and ready for use.

Service During Events

Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently during events.

Refill water, clear plates, and maintain table cleanliness throughout the function.

Support buffet arrangement, replenishment, and monitoring during service.

Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure a pleasant dining experience.

Event Breakdown & Cleanup

Clear tables, remove linens, and return equipment to designated storage areas.

Clean and reset banquet rooms after events according to hotel standards.

Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and storage of banquet service items.

Operational Support

Assist with transporting equipment, décor, and supplies as required.

Report any damages, shortages, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Follow all opening, closing, and preparation procedures accurately.

Compliance & Safety

Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.

Follow hotel policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in banquet or F&B service is an advantage; hotel experience preferred.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Service-oriented, polite, and professional in guest interactions.

Physically fit and able to handle lifting or moving equipment.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.

Basic English communication preferred.
