1. Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business
2. Services existing business through management of account bases
3. Sell all facets of the property
4. Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market
5. Provides direction on, and conducts market research and analysis
6. Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Property business
7. Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place
8. Conduct client interviews
9. Entertain clients
10. Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
11. Travel when required to promote the property and develop potential business
12. Monitors existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximize business
13. Assists with the preparation of new products and services and the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
14. Works with superior on manpower planning and management needs and Department’s budget

1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Property Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2. Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the property, the brand and the Company.
3. Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
5. Good writing skills
6. 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
