Job Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Purchasing Manager to support lead daily procurement operations, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure smooth purchasing processes across the organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid negotiation support skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet business needs..
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement Operations:
- Support the Procurement Manager in implementing purchasing strategies and policies.
- Lead daily purchasing operations, including preparing, issuing, and tracking purchase orders, deliveries, and shipment schedules.
- Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers for hospitality, construction, and F&B categories under the guidance of the Procurement Manager.
- Compare basic costs, specifications, and quality of products/services to support purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, especially during peak seasons and urgent operational needs.
- Lead in negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
- Maintain and update supplier records, ensuring documents, contracts, and agreements are accurate and up to date.
- Support initial risk assessments of suppliers and potential procurement agreements.
- Work with suppliers to resolve routine issues related to delivery timelines, product quality, or documentation.
- Work with the Accounting team to ensure smooth purchasing–payment workflows and proper documentation for system integration.
- Monitor purchasing expenses and prepare monthly summaries for budget tracking.
- Lead in tracking key procurement metrics to support cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all purchasing activities follow internal procedures, company policies, and procurement compliance standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather purchasing requirements and align procurement activities with business operations.
- Facilitate communication between the Purchasing team and other teams to maintain smooth operational flow.
- Support senior management with data collection, reporting, and documentation for decision-making.
- Assist in team coordination, follow-ups, and task management to ensure timely completion of purchasing activities.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 7 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in hospitality, construction, and F&B sectors, and at least 3 years of experience in people manager position
- Strong understanding of basic procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and product comparison.
- Strong negotiation, sourcing, and supplier management skills with a strategic approach.
- Must have experience in team leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a strong business mindset.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Result-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze basic purchasing data and provide insights for improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement systems.
- Good at English is an advantage.
