Purchasing Officer

• Execute daily purchasing activities for food, beverage, operating supplies, equipment, and services in accordance with approved purchasing procedures and budgets.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best quality, pricing, delivery terms, and service.
• Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related documentation accurately and timely.
• Receive and inspect goods,ensuring correct quantity, quality, specifications, and compliance with purchase orders.
• Liaise closely with Operations, Logistics partners, Finance, F&B, Kitchen, and Engineering to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Monitor order status, delivery timelines, and transportation arrangements to ensure timely arrival of goods at the resort.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, supplier databases, and shipment documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, and service.
• Support inventory control, stock planning, and cost control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
• Prepare purchasing and logistics reports as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualification

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management preferably specializing in Finance or Accounting Management
• Chartered Financial Analyst certification is of advantage

Work Experience

• 1 -2 year experiences in similar role at luxury hotels/resort

• Competent computing skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
