Mô tả công việc

The Banquet/Catering Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the proactive solicitation of banquet, convention, and catering business. This role involves strategic planning, relationship management, and seamless coordination between the sales efforts and operational execution to ensure financial targets and guest satisfaction are met.

Assist in producing, implementing, and monitoring Action Plans to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved.
Maintain active contact with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers, airlines, and wholesalers via sales calls, site inspections, and written communications.
Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies to target new customers and seek fresh sales opportunities.
Conduct regular research on competition to stay ahead of market trends.
Maintain a comprehensive database of major markets and trace files for direct contact/mailings.
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through entertainment and consistent follow-ups to enable future bookings.
Meet with guests from major producers and big event organizers staying at the hotel to ensure total satisfaction.
Present products and showcase venues (site tours) to prospective clients upon request.
Collect detailed information/requests from guests and update the team for revision of Sales Contracts and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Coordinate closely with the Banquet Operations and Kitchen teams to ensure service is fully delivered for weddings, conventions, and events.
Maintain close liaison with other departments to ensure productive departmental performance and adherence to budget.
Work collaboratively with off-company sales channels (e.g., Event Booking Centers, Strategic Accounts) to ensure coordinated, non-duplicative efforts.
Maintain and oversee the implementation of departmental Standards and Procedures (SOPs).

Yêu cầu công việc

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Catering/Banquet Sales within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and English communication skills.
Tools: Proficient in Hotel Management Systems (Opera/Smile) and Microsoft Office.
Traits: Results-oriented, creative in F&B concepts, and strong leadership capabilities.
