Objective of the position:

• Implementation of the ROBINSON Food & Beverage (F&B) standards in the service area and the guidelines in the manual
• Responsibility for food and beverage service in all restaurants and at special events
• Management of the employees in this department

Scope of duties and responsibilities:

• Ensuring the smooth running of all restaurant areas (main restaurant, speciality restaurants, special events)
• Ensuring the ROBINSON standards in service
• Knowledge of the wine list as well as buffet knowledge & good guest counselling
• Assistance with stocking, maintenance and service at the wine bar
• Responsibility for timely & correct mise en place in the guest and buffet area in accordance with ROBINSON service standards
• Service responsibility for restaurant offers outside the main opening hours (e.g. early departures, children’s meals)
• Responsibility for inventory, requirements, incoming goods inspection and correct storage under lock and key for own area
• Responsibility for internal goods transfers of bar products and their complete documentation
• Continuous quality control of the products used, recommendation to the purchasing department if necessary
• Creation of duty rosters for the individual service areas in terms of professional and time-related rational deployment of staff, taking into account labour law regulations
• Responsibility for completeness, cleanliness, maintenance, repair & determination of replacement requirements for all equipment, machines & materials in the bar area
• Carrying out inventories in collaboration with F&B Controlling
• Responsible for staff training: ROBINSON service & F&B standards, recipes, HACCP and specialised training as well as documentation as part of the CTS
• Responding to guest needs, host function
• Active participation in the operational processes of the individual bar outlets as required
• Carrying out daily service briefings
• Participation in F&B meetings
• Support in the planning and realisation of F&B extra activities
• Assessing and promoting your own employees
• Welcoming and seating guests, responding to guest needs and maintaining contact
• Integration into the overall team through cooperation and collaboration with other departments
• Carrying out ROBINlife host tasks, e.g.:

o Participating in the arrival and departure service for guests

o Organising cooking activities

o Involvement in the evening show and evening programme

• Proven experience in restaurant or F&B operations, preferably in a managerial role
• Solid knowledge of service standards, food & beverage operations, and guest experience
• Good communication skills and ability to handle guest feedback professionally
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Experience in international hospitality environments is a plus
