Assistant Chief Steward

• Oversee daily Stewarding operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with Rixos standards
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in kitchen and back-of-house areas (HACCP & ISO compliance)
• Control operating costs, including breakage, inventory, and chemical usage
• Conduct regular inventory checks and manage par stock levels
• Coordinate with Kitchen, F&B, and Housekeeping for smooth operations
• Supervise cleaning schedules, equipment handling, and maintenance processes
• Prepare and submit operational reports (inventory, breakage, training, etc.)
• Lead, train, and supervise the stewarding team, ensuring performance and grooming standards
• Plan staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower during peak periods
• Handle internal and guest-related concerns professionally

• Proven experience in Stewarding or similar role in hospitality
• Good knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, and safety standards
• Strong understanding of cost control and inventory management
• Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Professional attitude with strong teamwork and service mindset
