Chief Accountant - Kế Toán Trưởng

• To assist the Financial Controller and oversee daily accounting operation in the hotel.

• To check salary and import salary expense to system.

• To perform bank reconciliation and month-end reconciliation of all general ledger balances.

• To prepare the trial balance and financial reports.

• To review and analyse all accounts before issuing final monthly financial statements and forecast of the following months.

• To oversee all legal and tax matters related to the hotel in liaison with consultants and local authorities.

• To support the financial controller in monitoring and supervising accounting tasks such as tracking the progress of members’ work, preparing training plans for positions.

• To follow and review contracts at the hotel.

• Review invoice issuance through PR (purchase request) data and on the MC system to ensure expenses belong the budget.

• To monitor the progress of buying CAPEX items

• To check cash and bank payment requests.

• To send reports and explaination to the Owner Representative in Finance as requested.

• The supervise the strict respect of all control procedures and policies.

• To perform other duties as required by the Financial Controller

• To verify the accuracy of the General Cashier report and that revenue receipts are daily deposited into the bank by the General Cashier.

• To verify the daily foreign exchange rates comply with and are advertised according to the procedure.

• In regards to sales tax, consumption tax and payroll related taxes, to verify that amounts are promptly declared and paid on time.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Chief Accountant Certification
• Thorough knowledge of local regulatory financial - accountant requirements
• A minimum of one-year experience in the same position
