Purchasing Manager

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS

• Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers, particularly for Fresh Food, Beverages, and Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) within the Da Nang region.
• Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations regarding pricing, payment terms, and after-sales services to ensure maximum cost-effectiveness. Manage and renew commercial contracts.
• Procurement Planning: Collaborate closely with Executive Chefs, Engineering, and Housekeeping departments to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Quality & Cost Control: Work with the Cost Controller to monitor market price fluctuations. Ensure all delivered goods meet TUI BLUE brand specifications and hygiene standards.
• Process Oversight: Supervise the end-to-end procurement cycle—from Purchase Request (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) to Receiving and Payment—ensuring transparency and financial integrity.
• Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance for the General Manager and Financial Controller.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within 4-5 star hotels or resorts. Pre-opening experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) for reporting and communicating within an international corporate environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and hotel management systems (e.g., SMILE, Opera, or similar ERP software). 
• High level of integrity, honesty, and the ability to work under high pressure during the pre-opening phase.
