After the recent completion of its comprehensive renovation in early 2026, the Grand Plaza Hanoi Hotel has transitioned from its classic gold-plated heritage into a refined "all-in-one" luxury destination.

The renovation, part of the broader CV Resort "Rebirth"strategy, focuses on three pillars: modern infrastructure, elevated international service standards, and a deep integration with premium lifestyle experiences.

To lead this new chapter, we are currently seeking a visionary Director of Sales (DOS) to join our executive team.


I. Position Overview

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the hotel’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth across all segments, including Corporate, MICE, Leisure, and OTA. This role focuses on maximizing occupancy, increasing market share, and strengthening the hotel’s positioning in the 5-star segment through effective sales planning, client relationship management, and team leadership.

The Director of Sales (DOS) plays a critical role in managing high-volume corporate accounts, government delegations (given its proximity to the National Convention Center), and the extensive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities.

Reports directly to: Director of Sales and Marketing.

II. Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the hotel’s business objectives.

Identify target markets and key segments (Corporate, MICE, Leisure, Government, etc.).

Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to adjust strategies effectively.


2. Revenue Generation & Performance Management

Drive revenue growth across all segments to achieve budget targets (Room, MICE, F&B).

Work closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies.

Monitor key performance indicators (Revenue, ADR, Occupancy, RevPAR) and take corrective actions when needed.


3. Business Development & Client Relations

Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and key partners.

Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand market share.

Represent the hotel in sales trips, networking events, and industry exhibitions.


4. Sales Team Leadership

Lead, manage, and develop the Sales team to achieve individual and team targets.

Set KPIs, monitor performance, and provide coaching and training.

Foster a results-driven and high-performance sales culture.


5. Sales & Marketing Collaboration

Collaborate with the Marketing team to align campaigns, promotions, and branding initiatives.

Support the development of sales packages, promotions, and seasonal offers.

Ensure consistent brand positioning across all sales channels.


6. Reporting & Market Intelligence

Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for the Management team.

Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to recommend strategic adjustments.

Utilize data insights to improve sales effectiveness and profitability.

IV. Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2–3 years in a senior management role.

- Proven track record in achieving revenue targets in a 4–5 star hotel environment.

- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

- In-depth knowledge of hotel sales segments and distribution channels.

- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

- Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages are an advantage.
