The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across the hotel’s key business segments, including corporate accounts, MICE, leisure, events, and lifestyle-driven hospitality experiences. This role focuses on developing business opportunities, expanding client networks, increasing overall sales performance, and strengthening Grand Plaza Hanoi Hotel’s positioning as a refined “all-in-one” luxury destination within the 5-star hospitality segment.
Reports directly to: Director of Sales and Marketing
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue across the hotel’s key business segments, including Corporate, MICE, Leisure, Government, Events, other potential accounts.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer behavior, and business demand to adjust sales plans effectively.
2. Revenue Generation & Performance Management
- Drive revenue growth to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Work closely with the Revenue, Reservations, Front Office, Banquet, F&B, and Marketing teams to maximize sales opportunities and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, revenue contribution, and client feedback to improve business results.
3. Business Development & Client Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government accounts, embassies, travel agencies, event planners, MICE organizers, and key business partners.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities for rooms, meetings, events, banquets, corporate stays, and other hotel services.
- Represent the hotel in networking events, client entertainment activities, trade shows, and relevant industry events.
4. Event, MICE & Corporate Sales Support
- Work closely with the Banquet, Event, Reservations, and Operations teams to handle client requirements from inquiry stage to confirmation.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and customized packages based on client needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and proper handover of confirmed bookings or events.
5. Sales & Marketing Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop sales campaigns, corporate offers, seasonal promotions, event packages, and lifestyle-driven activations.
- Support content ideas and promotional angles for rooms, MICE, events, corporate packages, and hotel lifestyle experiences.
6. Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Analyze sales data and market information to recommend actions that improve sales performance and profitability.
- Maintain an updated client database and track all sales activities accurately.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, banquet sales, hotel sales, event sales, or related commercial roles.
- Prior experience in a 4–5 star hotel, restaurant group, banquet/event venue, or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Commercial mindset, proactive attitude, customer-oriented approach, and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent in English.
