FINANCIAL RETURNS

• Assists in producing the Annual Revenue Plan & Marketing Plan

• Assists in producing, implementing and monitoring Marketing activities to ensure Revenue Plan objectives are achieved

• Assists in producing, implementing and monitoring strategies to ensure distribution and online objectives are achieved

• Assist in producing, implementing and monitoring all digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media

• Analyses current and competitor marketing trends, coordinates all marketing activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rate

• Maintain regular contact with the IHG hotels in your region and the regional reservation office

• Assists in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities

• Implement direction from Marketing Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management

Distribution Channels

• Define hotel Distribution and Relationship Marketing initiatives based on market needs and cost of sale.

• Review channel performance. Highlight risks, opportunities, and provide recommendations to the management team.

• Leverage Best Price Guarantee across all channels supporting direct bookings to brand websites that will result in better revenues and stronger guest loyalty.

Up to date Content

• Ensure Content and Images are up to date on Hotel Content Manager (HCM), consistent across all channels and partner websites (e.g. Expedia)

• Facilitate hotel adoption to IHG new tools and systems

• Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists and content for e-newsletter

• Merchandise IHG global/regional campaigns

• Communicate Dining Privilege multi-brand/regional/cluster campaigns & EDM

Social Media

• Overall responsibility for working with Media partner to update Social Media (Facebook, TripAdvisor etc.) relevant to the hotel’s source market

• Plan, research and develop highly engaging content for various social media channels

• Respond to questions and comments on social media channels

• Responsible for coaching social media best practices to relevant hotel departments

• Monitor both hotel’s and competitors’ presence on social media, engage the audience through interaction and campaigns

• With the Marketing Manager to Formulate and evaluation of Social Marketing campaigns

• With the Marketing Manager, maintain close liaison with Regional/ Corporate Marketing teams and those of other IC hotels to ensure the hotel receives proper corporate consideration, direction and support.

• With the Marketing Manager, develop and maintain relationships with key paid media clients, ad agencies, local community groups in order to produce business, to include room sales, food and beverage sales, and catering/banquet services.

• Develop strong internal relationships across sales, revenue and marketing functions to ensure consistency in products across all channels.

• Provides information to other departments on activities within and outside the hotel which may be useful when dealing with guests.

• Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

• Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place.

• Under the guidance of Marketing Manager Plans and coordinates paid sponsorship activities.

• Leverage Best Price Guarantee across all channels supporting direct bookings to brand websites that will result in better revenues and stronger guest loyalty.

• Co-ordinates hotel photography when required.

• Ensure full compliance with InterContinental and IHG Brand standards.

• Develops and organizes paid promotional activities, coordinates with departments concerned.

• With the Marketing Manager, procures new and repeat business for the hotel by monitoring contact with OTAs. Maintains contact with OTA Marketing Managers

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

• Confident to execute emergency procedures in crisis situations.

• Supports to make the work environment a safe and secure area to work.

• Participates in creating awareness and building the reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community

• Contributes towards making the Hotel a sustainable or “green” Hotel and assists in communicating this to the community.

Yêu cầu công việc

Required Skills

• Demonstrated expertise of online marketing as well as offline

• Creative, innovative, and aware of new technology trends in the travel industry

• Engaged in social media platforms (e.g. Facebook)

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop skills will be a plus

• Strong communication skills in English. Local language and source market language a plus

• Team Player and excellent interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Degree level in Marketing, Communications, Business administration or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience

• 3 ~ 5 years experiences in Marketing, Digital marketing, Brand management, Public Relations, Marketing Communications.

• Advertising Agency, Public Relations, Travel industry system connectivity, Online Travel Agents, Central Reservation Office background or combination of any above are highly desired.
