Mô tả công việc

  • Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Manage and oversee the assigned kitchen section during daily operations.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and stock levels within the assigned section.
  • Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and the introduction of new dishes.
  • Supervise, train, and support junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety in compliance with company and local regulations.
  • Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of kitchen resources.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen sections and service teams to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
  • Conduct regular checks on ingredients, equipment, and storage areas to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Yêu cầu công việc

Requirements
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in an Indian kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP or equivalent).
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
  • Culinary certification or relevant professional training is preferred.
