Night Supervisor

The Night Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all Front Office operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth guest service delivery, operational efficiency, security compliance, and accurate daily financial closing procedures. The role serves as the primary point of contact for guests and departments during overnight hours, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality consistent with a luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management
• Supervise and coordinate all Front Office activities during the night shift.
• Ensure efficient check-in, check-out, room allocation, and guest registration processes.
• Monitor room status, room inventory, and occupancy levels to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct night shift briefings and ensure proper handover to the morning team.
• Guest Service Excellence
• Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction through proactive service and personalized attention.
• Respond effectively to guest inquiries, concerns, and emergency situations.
• Ensure hotel standards and brand service requirements are consistently met.
• Build positive relationships with guests and encourage repeat business.
• Financial & Administrative Duties
• Perform night audit procedures and ensure accuracy of daily financial transactions.
• Verify guest accounts, room charges, and revenue postings.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports, including occupancy, revenue, arrivals, departures, and incident reports.
• Ensure cash handling procedures comply with company policies.
• Leadership & Team Management
• Supervise Front Desk Agents, Bell Attendants, and other night-shift team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and grooming standards.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.
• Safety & Security
• Act as the Duty Manager during overnight hours when required.
• Monitor hotel security procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Coordinate with Security, Engineering, and Housekeeping teams to address operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Front Office experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office operations and night audit procedures.
• Experience with PMS systems such as Opera, Fidelio, or similar hotel management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
