Assisstant Sommelier - Chuyên rượu vang

We’re looking for an Assistant Sommelier who believes that great wine is really about great hospitality. You’ll help guests navigate our wine list with curiosity rather than intimidation, recommend bottles that suit the moment, and create experiences that feel thoughtful, relaxed, and personal.

This role is ideal for someone who’s eager to grow in the world of wine. You’ll work alongside our sommelier in daily service, participate in regular tastings, and develop the confidence to tell the stories behind each bottle. Whether you’re already studying wine or simply fascinated by it, we’ll help you build the knowledge and palate to share it with others naturally.

• Welcome and seat guests with genuine warmth, creating an experience that feels personal from the moment they arrive.
• Guide guests through our wine list with confidence and curiosity, making thoughtful recommendations based on their preferences, mood, and meal.
• Assist with all aspects of wine service, including presenting bottles, opening, decanting, pouring, glassware care, and maintaining proper serving standards.
• Participate in regular wine tastings, producer trainings, and team education to continually deepen your product knowledge and palate.
• Learn the stories behind our wines, producers, and regions, and communicate them in a way that feels engaging, approachable, and never intimidating.
• Take food and beverage orders, ensuring smooth communication between guests, the kitchen, and the bar team.
• Monitor cellar and wine inventory, restock service stations, and help maintain the wine program’s daily operations.
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization across the dining room, bar, wine storage, and service areas.
• Work closely with the sommelier and management team to deliver a seamless guest experience while continuously developing your wine knowledge and service skills.
• Contribute to the welcoming, thoughtful, and unpretentious hospitality that defines 2cms.

• Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Interest in wine and a burning curiosity to learn about it.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• A calm, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• WSET is preferred (compensation can be adjusted based on experience)
