PR / Communications

Developing PR Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with the resort's goals and target audience, focusing on enhancing the brand image and promoting the resort's unique offerings.

Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with local, national, and international media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and press opportunities. Manage and monitor PR agencies. Liaise with IHG Corporate PR and Sun Group PR & Marketing department as needed.

Press Releases/Media Kits/Collateral: Prepare and distribute press releases and media kits showcasing the resort's latest developments, events, and exclusive amenities to attract media attention.

Crisis Management: Participate in crisis communication plan and protocol development to handle potential negative incidents or situations that could impact the resort's reputation, ensuring a swift and effective response.

Event Planning and Coordination: Organize and promote special events at the resort, such as openings, launches and press conferences, to generate media coverage and social buzz.

Brand Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and initiate partnerships and collaborations with luxury brands, celebrities, and influencers to boost the resort's visibility and reach.

Community Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to engage with the local community and demonstrate the resort's commitment to corporate social responsibility and philanthropy.

PR: Identifying story ideas; pitching/managing agencies; hosting media & KOLs. Utilizing media monitoring tools and analytics to measure the effectiveness of PR efforts, track media coverage, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

Internal Communications: Ensuring all resort staff are aligned with the brand's messaging and aware of the latest PR initiatives and campaigns; as well as keeping colleagues updated with what is happening at the resort.

Marketing Communications: Work with other team members to ensure PR messaging is aligned with advertising, digital marketing and content marketing/social media themes. In partnership with the Communications Manager, Assistant Marketing Manager, and R&B Marketing Manager, ensure that the digital ecosystem is updated, error free, and that paid digital activities are properly executed and monitored.

Collateral Development: Supervise the production of sales and marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers and in-house items, etc... reflecting the resort’s luxury positioning.

Translation/proofreading: Act as lead Vietnamese translator/proofreader for content production.

Market Research & Analysis: Stay abreast of competitive positioning and activities, as well as consumer travel trends in key geo-markets and customer segments.

Ensure brand consistency and reinforcement in all marketing copy, photography/videography, communications and programs.

What we need from you:

Technical skills

Media relations experience

Project management experience; agency/vendor management experience desirable

Digitally savvy: quick learner in CMS systems, social media management, photo and video production

Management ability for graphic design, photography, video production

Strong technical skills, including superior Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Personal capabilities Fluent in English - speaking, reading and writing at a professional level. Native-level Vietnamese highly desired; additional languages a bonus

International, global mind set

Strong communication and presentation skills

Knowledge and keen interest in general consumer online trends

Hospitality/travel, luxury brand or retail experience an asset
