Night Manager

BASIC FUNCTION:

To take responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during the late evening and night hours. To supervise staff using dynamic leadership techniques, allowing each member of the team to provide the best possible experience for guests throughout their stay.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manages and supervises night duty staff and operations.

2. He has excellent knowledge of the hotel facilities and services and actively always promotes the hotel to guests and customers. Creates a 'sales awareness' culture within the department.

3. Has full knowledge of the hotel health and safety and fire and threats procedures. 4. Ensures the efficient running of night operations.

5. Take responsibility for the night audit and ensure that all the money is held in a proper manner and in accordance with the specifications of the accounts department. 6. Liaise with guests and staff and act upon any queries, complaints and compliments received and to take corrective action if necessary.

7. Provides information for all hotel colleagues that is accurate, useful and to their requirements, enhancing the effective operation of the hotel.

8. Assists the Front Office Manager in managing the overnight shift operation of the Front Desk at the hotel.

1. Bachelor's degree in any field.

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.

3. Strong inter-personal and leadership skills.

4. Proficiency in English and computer literate.

5. Good health, maturity, pleasant personality and neat appearance. 

6. Able to cope with pressure.
