Sales Executive

BASIC FUNCTION:

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales, and adhering to policies and procedures as provided by the designated hotels and company, theBASIC FUNCTION:

To maximize the sale of hotel products in many different settings and to ensure the commercial success of a diverse range of companies, in local and overseas markets. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.

2. Visiting potential customers to seek new business.

3. Acting as the contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.

4. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.

5. Gathering market and customer information.

6. Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. 

7. Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers. 

8. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.

CRITERIA:

1. Bachelor's degree in related field.

2. Minimum 3 years in a similar position in international hotels.

3. Strong administrative skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

4. Ability to develop effective motivational strategies.

5. Computer literate.

6. Good health, mature and pleasant personality and neat appearance.
