BASIC FUNCTION:
To be responsible for the planning and implementation of all Spa activities including massage therapy and beauty treatment services. Ongoing responsibilities will include the promotion, selling, tracking of all membership, sales planning and implementation of the monthly Spa calendar for social activities for the customer and special programs for convention groups.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensures that personal appearance, standards and punctuality sets an example for the staff in the department.
2. Oversee the smooth running of the Spa on a day-to-day basis to achieve a high level of guest satisfaction.
3. Has complete knowledge of the hotel product including room rates, relative facilities, food and beverage outlets.
4. Develops and maintains a motivational working environment with the department and positive working relationships with other departments.
5. Attends training sessions/meetings as required.
6. Ensures staffing is adequate for Spa given the daily business flow through the hotel. 7. Ensure health and safety codes are implemented. Oversee the personal hygiene and grooming standards of department employees.
8. Conducts daily shift briefings and meetings and disseminates relevant information to staff.
9. Conduct spa treatments where customer demand or staff schedules dictate.
10. Ensures all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met and that all follow up is completed on a timely basis. Pre-empts and anticipates guest needs.
11. Maintains a system of regular staff training and reporting
12. Undertakes relevant administrative duties regarding maintenance and housekeeping requisitions and annual and sick leave requests.
13. Maintains regular quality control inspections of the department's standards and keeps all departments updated on all activities and functions offered to hotel guests. 14. Trains and assists in the evaluation of attendants/therapists who work with new Spa programmes.
15. Supervises instructors and all other staff help with any activities or functions arranged via the Spa.
16. Ensures that hospitality is continually evident during all activities and programmes offered by the hotel.
17. Prepare a monthly calendar of events to inform members of the daily programmes being offered.
18. Plans and ensure supervision of all planned activities and maintains a proper supply of all items needed.
19. Monitors the success of the activity programmers through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests' comments, both verbal and written. Makes any necessary adjustments to maintain high quality programmes for hotel guests.
20. Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting fees charged for Spa amenities and activities.
21. Ensures that all activities and job functions are performed in a safe environment using appropriate safety techniques.
22. Closely monitors salary cost to ensure it is contained within an acceptable percentage to budget.
23. Meet and exceed budget requirements.
24. Prepare the yearly budget for the department.
25. Represent the department at relevant meetings within and outside the Hotel.
26. Provides staff counselling, support and guidance as required.
27. Searches and finds new products in the market and liaise with company corporate standards regarding their use.
28. Completes performance appraisals with direct reports.
29. Interviews and selecting new staff for the department.
30. Performs other appropriate duties, as required by a supervisor.

Yêu cầu công việc
CRITERIA:
1. Qualifications & Experience
• College/ University degree in Business Administration, Service Management, Beauty, Spa & Aesthetics, or related fields.
• Must be able to communicate in English and Vietnamese
• At least 5-6 years of experience in a management position at a spa, beauty clinic, or wellness/healthcare center.
• Candidates with experience in high-end hotel/resort spa environments are preferred.
2. Knowledge & Skills
• Good understanding of spa services and treatments, including skincare, body care, massage, ETC.
• Knowledge of cosmetics, beauty products, and beauty technologies is an advantage.
• Strong skills in staff management, training, and team development.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in office software, especially Excel and spa management systems.
