Assistant Banquet Manager

- Operations Support:

• Assist in managing daily operations of the outlet to ensure service standards are consistently met.

• Support the Banquet Manager in monitoring compliance with SOPs, hygiene, HACCP, and safety standards.

• Supervise the team on the floor, ensuring coordination between service and kitchen/bar.

• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly courteously and professionally.

- Financial & Cost Control:

• Assist in monitoring outlet sales performance and expense control.

• Help reduce operational wastage and improve cost efficiency.

• Support outlet promotions and upselling initiatives.

• Contribute to preparing reports and data for sales and revenue analysis.

- Team Leadership & Development:

• Support the Banquet Manager in supervising, motivating, and coaching the team.

• Conduct pre-shift briefings when assigned.

• Help plan staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.

• Assist in training new employees and ongoing staff development.

- Guest Service Excellence:

• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring attentive, personalized service.

• Assist in managing VIP guests, group events, and special occasions.

• Actively engage with guests to build relationships and encourage repeat business.

- Administration & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, licensing laws, and safety procedures.

• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and handovers.

• Perform administrative tasks as delegated by the Banquet Manager.

- Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.

- At least 1 year of working experience in the same position at Hotels/ Resorts.

- Good knowledge of beverages, decoration, fabric, and creativity.

- Good command of English communication.

- Proficient in computer literacy and management skills.

- Problem-solving, organizational and training abilities.
