• Deliver Exceptional Welcomes & Farewells: Manage smooth, accurate check-in and check-out processes in Opera PMS, ensuring registration details, room selections, and billing instructions are perfectly set.
• Drive Hilton Honors Engagement: Enthusiastically promote the Hilton Honors program to new guests while delivering personalized, high-touch service and recognition to existing loyalty members and VIPs.
• Be the Local Expert: Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for the hotel and local area, providing guests with accurate information on facilities, dining, local attractions, and special events.
  
  

2. Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Master Front Desk Administration: Complete daily desk functions, including trace reports, credit limit checks, shift handovers, daily logbooks, and inventory management.
• Seamless Communication: Promptly respond to phone and email inquiries, manage guest messaging/parcels, and coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and IT to fulfill guest requests.
• Uphold Brand & Safety Standards: Strictly adhere to Hilton brand standards, Health & Safety guidelines, emergency management, and disaster response procedures.
  
  

3. Problem Resolution & Guest Care

• Resolve Issues with Empathy: Actively listen to guest feedback and complaints, taking ownership to research and deliver prompt, effective solutions with a calm and professional demeanor.
• Ensure Satisfaction: Follow up on all guest requests and resolutions to guarantee total satisfaction, escalating complex issues to the Duty Manager or Guest Service Supervisor when necessary.
  
  

4. Commercial Impact & Financial Integrity

• Drive Revenue & Upselling: Maximize hotel revenue by ethically upselling rooms/rates and supporting demand-based pricing strategies.
• Financial Compliance: Execute accurate cash handling, foreign currency exchange, credit card processing, and ledger postings in strict accordance with company credit policies and float balances.

A Guest Service Agent serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• Able to perform moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
• Able to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing to meet business needs.
• Able to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Able to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
• Good interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction.
• Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• 1 or 2 years of related working experience preferred.
