Casual Purchasing Officer

• Confirm order information, items, quantity with the requester.
• Research and select qualified domestic and foreign suppliers that ensure product quality.
• Draft/update processes and regulations related to supply as required.
• Make supply plans based on procurement plans approved by Company leaders.
• Negotiate for the best price.
• Complete purchase and payment records according to Company regulations.
• Develops regular price comparisons for departmental purchases.
• Work with suppliers on product quality, shelf life and request suppliers to return goods when they do not meet requirements.
• To comply with all standards of performance, behaviour, and operational policies and procedures in place at the golf club at all times.
• Participates in internal and external activities that are judged as appropriate to enhance the prestige of the company; or broadens the scope of the company’s operations by fulfilling the public obligations of the company as a participating member of the community.
• Performs other relevant duties as directed by the General Manager.

• University graduate with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field in Economics.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent organization skills and be able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of standard weight and volume measurements and conversions.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, accounting applications and database management software.
