To adhere to all fire and safety regulations
To maintain company standards in hygiene and physical appearance
Represent the hotel in a positive manner on and off duty
Adhered to all regulations and procedures as laid down by the company
To be fully informed on the Naman Resort and it’s services
To attend training, meetings and briefings as required
Communicate by following the proper Channel of reporting/ proper manner
To liaise with other departments on related issues
To complete all given tasks in a timely manner to adhere to operational hours as needed
To contribute to the total guest satisfaction of the hotel Human Resources:
Assist in ensuring effective recruitment, induction and training program within the department ·
Responsibility to regular training, goals and incentive programs are carried out and all staff receive feedback on performance ·
Training the staff to the excellence services with also on the job training. Minimum of 7 hours per staff per week of training will have to be carried out with training attendance record ·
Assist in collating and update training manuals for all positions in the department ·
Controlling rosters, timesheets and disciplinary information ·
Communicate with all staff regarding changes and daily operational needs ·
Assist in enforcing safety/security aspects in the department ·
To manage supervisors and staffs in a fair and just manner but should be firm in decision making ·
Ensuring staff hygiene and professional appearance is maintained Communications
Ensure effective communication within the department and the hotel
To communicate with maintenance to ensure all repairs are attended to
Liaise with all departments regarding guest information, special requests, VIP’s
Liaise with Front Office regarding daily operations i.e. guest’s in-house for dinner, special dietary requirements
Liaise with Sales/Marketing regarding function requirements
Updating guest history
Ensure contact is possible with the F&B department throughout the day Guest Relations and Customer Service:
To handle any guest complaints effectively
To ensure guest requests dealt with prompt
Be responsible for meeting and talking with the guests at all times and lobbing of comments from them Finance & Accounting
Assist in implementing budget and controls
Assist in controlling staffing levels in relation to payroll and budget
Assist with ordering and controlling operating equipment and supplies
Ensure issues to other departments authorized and recorded and charged as required
Curbing wastage in all areas
Maximizing profitability of the outlet by increasing turnover & minimized operating costs without affecting the quality of the service and products Administration:
Prepare monthly F&B reports
Ensuring monthly stock take completed timeously
Assist in controlling and updating budgets as required
Ensuring POS procedures adhered to
Ensuring end of day functions on POS completed
Ensuring food and beverage charges for function billing correct Operation:
Ensuring efficient and effective F&B operations in all outlets and function areas
Ensuring mis-en-place prepared timeously
Ensuring all F&B areas are served, checked daily and meet set standards
Ensuring F&B areas are cleaned and items stored after shifts as required
To maintain general cleanliness and order in the department and hotel
To maintain all set inventory levels for beverages and cutlery/crockery
Ensure all operating equipment is handled with due care and curb wastage/breakage of supplies
Ensure F&B areas are equipped with tools and necessary materials to successfully carry out their function within the set company standards
Collating and implementing maintenance programs for all operating equipment
Ensuring control procedures for all supplies/cutlery/crockery adhered to
Enforcing safety aspect within the department i.e. access to stores, beverages
To ensure that all restaurants will have a drawing plan and staff allocation
To make sure all events has props and decoration of quality and presentation
Ensuring Functions are set up in a way to create smooth traffic flow
Contribute ideas to the F&B team in the yearly food promotion calendar
Monitors and analyzes menus and products of competitive restaurants
Assure all coordination with the kitchen before and during the function for flow of food sequence
Be able to take over all F&B department on day off, annual leave or sick leave of the F&B manager.
Perform other duties as maybe assigned

- Cultural level: University
- Majority: Hospitality restaurant and bar management
- Certificates: English & Computer skill
