What You Will Do
The role of the Restaurant Manager is to ensure that all aspects of the restaurant operation is running smoothly. He/she must also provide leadership to achieve high-quality services.
• Be responsible for the promotion of customer-oriented service and maintain perfect knowledge of services offered by the hotel.
• Respond immediately to any problem in the service.
• Have an intimate knowledge of customer service standards. Train and manage employees accordingly to provide standardized service.
• Inspect whether employees are prepared for work.
• Plan and inspect special events in the department to ensure success.
• Establish plans and strategies to meet revenue goals.
• Regulate customer management and profit statistics.
• Examine and maintain various reports such as business revenues.
• Regulate and manage the expenditure in the department.
• Set a good example by complying with company regulations, and improve employee quality.
• Superintend necessary training and meetings and keep a record so as to maintain the highest quality of service and keep employees informed of their surrounding environment.
• Meet with Chefs, Hotel Manager on a regular basis to discuss menu items.
What You Are Good At
• Experience: At least 2-3 years working in senior position in F&B area.
• Excellent spoken & written English & Computer proficiency
• Understanding of F&B revenues and basic calculations
• Understanding of, and proficiency in, equipment and fixtures used in the operation of an F&B Outlet.
• Be able to train staff and make report
