Jobs Description: SCOPE OF WORK: This position is vital to ensure our hotel is profitable. You are responsible for generating sales across all our key revenue streams (bed rooms; meeting and conferences and seminars; anniversary celebrations; lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals; and any special events).

MAIN DUTIES: You will ensure revenue & occupancy targets are achieved by:

- Maximizing key revenue streams to ensure consistent usage of all hotel facilities.

- Building relationships with potential and past clients

- As required, attend trade shows, wedding fairs and networking events to bring new bookers and contacts into the hotel.

- Implements sales action plans related to market areas as outlined in the marketing plan. - Conducts sales calls to specific corporate accounts with group business potential.

- Effectively manages customers’ budget to maximize revenue and meet customer needs and identify opportunities to up-sell products and services throughout the sales process.

- Managing the processes we have in place to collect customer feedback and comments. - Managing the Hotel’s database, improve the database segmentation.

- Editing our monthly newsletter – content and implementation.

- Establishing a process to ensure all new customers and contacts are entered.

- Updating our website with all pricing changes and events.

- Setting up and managing a program for hotel Reception so that they assist you to establish new contacts and prospects.

- Work with the DOS & General Manager to review constantly our hospitality products and pricing and to develop the Hotel’s Sales and Marketing Plan.

Jobs Requirement:
Minimum 3-5 years of prior luxury hotel management experience with a proven track record of sales.
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Resort Management or Business is preferred
Presentation and negotiation skills
Fluent in English (both written & spoken)
