Grown in Japan, Michelin star apprentice in Chinese modern cuisine, he settled in Ho Chi Minh City in 2012 to open a new kind of restaurant, mixing Spanish tapas and oriental flavors. After 2 years in the South of Vietnam, Yu decided to come to Hanoi to take his idea to the next level with PéPé La Poule.
