Analysis of local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads and trends. Seek for cooperation with travel agent companies, develop and maintain contact, business relationship with all travel agents. Conduct sales calls to all existing and new clients to increase awareness and establish supportive business relationships. Coordinate and participate actively in trade-show and Sales trip events as identified to maintain close liaison with travel intermediaries, local business groups. Negotiate with all client subject to actual or potential room night productivity of each client and ensure the rate is not outside the guidelines set down in the hotel’s business plan. Negotiate series/charter rate with travel agents with specific condition. Prepare company contracts for the hotel including series/allottment contracts. Identify opportunities to increase hotel sales and income, work directly with client to implement and drive hotel programs. Follow through any lead and ensure that the appropriate action is taken to secure business at every opportunity. Conduct site inspection to any existing or potential clients whenever necessary. Assist in the planning and implementation of promotions and packages. Be responsible to build up the database for the hotel. Prepare sales proposals for clients. Respond to the incoming call and email. Maintain hotel relationships with key accounts. Report weekly sales call account, sales planner, realistic forecasts to the management team.
