Three months after leaving Hyatt, I spent time to recover my third language - Japanese in order to find a job that I would be able to utilize both of my restaurant experience and my languages, and I was pleased. Being one of assistants to a Japanese Executive Chef was such a precious journey as I have learned a huge amount of new knowledge and skills. As I was a permanent staff of a high-end Italian restaurant I had found myself quite confident with the job. Besides, I had the chance to learn how to schedule employees shift for three restaurants and, I was given the right to supervise the activities of all five branches of the chain and directly report to the Executive Chef, who would guide me to handle situations if possible. I was also responsible for dealing with customer's complaint about the quality of food, this includes taking complaints while working in restaurants whenever possible, cooperating with captains of kitchen and/or supervisor/manager of the restaurant to indicate the roots of the problems and finding solutions. With all of these required details I had making daily reports to the Chef in Japanese, weekly reports in Vietnamese, English and Japanese for presenting to the Board of Directors in weekly meetings. I also took part of supervising the hygiene and food safety of the chain as well as other daily paper work.

I was a senior waitress at the Italian restaurant of one of the finest five stars hotel in Vietnam - Park Hyatt Saigon. I worked in an international environment for over two years, which allowed me to learn many helpful skills in dealing with guests from all over the world in various situations. I understand how to handle problems at the moment and how to find the key point to prevent those in the future. I know how to work with people in different departments, cultures and languages and I know how to be professional in the international workplace.
