I was a Restaurant & Cafe Supervisor for 5 weeks at Stenden Hotel as part of the study. My common responsibility for both departments is guiding first-year trainees. In the restaurant, per shift, I am responsible for a specific amount of tables, ensure that the guests will have the best services as possible, and guarantee the service procedure to meet the standard. Additionally, maintaining communication between Restaurant and Kitchen is one of the most important factors for every shift. In the cafe, I was responsible for the cashier, to ensure that every menu item is prepared to sell in the front and that they need to always be full and well-presented for the guests.
