Group General Manager (since Jan.’19) General Manager Chaweng Regent Beach Resort (Jul.’18 – Dec.’18) Two independent family-owned 5-star and 4.5-star resorts on the island of Samui, with an overall inventory of 234 rooms and villas, 4 restaurants, 2 bars, 3 pool bars, 2 day spas, 2 meeting rooms and teams of 360 associates altogether. ➢ Identifying all the necessary adjustments to make in our operating standards in order to comply with government regulations as well as guests expectation in terms of hygiene, sanitizing and cleaning ➢ Developing the integration of all operating standards for the two properties to build a group culture ➢ Addressing opportunities of clustering back-of-house and production departments ➢ Assessing risk and developing the Risk Management procedures ➢ Putting in place a 3-year action plan on sustainability ➢ Reviewing restaurant concepts and regularly updating menus in collaboration with the Chefs ➢ Participating actively with the Project Team on the partial renovations undertaken since joining ➢ Minimizing guest complaints by walking around the resorts and getting direct feed-back from the guests ➢ Delivered GOP of 53.3% for FY 2018 and 54.3% for FY 2019 for Chaweng Regent Beach Resort and 42.3% FY 2019 for Melati Beach Resort & Spa ➢ Conducted performance reviews and setting up a development plan for all Heads of Department
