FCE Project (from Jun – Nov 2013) Having successfully trained 50 elementary teachers of English for the Cambridge FCE B2 level Certificate. This is a project in cooperation with and under supervision of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). The outcomes were encouraging with about 70 percent of students passing the exam, and AMA Center has gained in popularity thanks to this success. Handling all academic as well as administrative tasks related to the class. Reporting the project’s progress on a daily basis to my manager and on a monthly basis to the MOET. FPT Project (2014, 2015) In charge of several classes with students who are employees of FPT Software company and want to get a mandatory TOEIC certificate. 70 per cent of the students achieved their desired points and a significant improvement was seen. All the students felt totally pleased with the course. TOEIC department Working as a full-time teacher at TOEIC & FCE department. Being an invigilator of IELTS, TOEIC and FCE mock test held at AMA Center. Making study plans and syllabuses for different courses at AMA. Doing daily administrative tasks to keep track of students’ learning progress and their test results. Doing other paperwork like making request for office supplies & teaching materials plus making copies. Making weekly and yearly reports, making proposals to streamline company’s organizational structure as well as improve students’ performance. Responsible for maintaining office equipment In charge of instructing new foreign teachers about TOEIC& FCE test format. Administration: Handling F&B-related e-mail and phone calls from customers and other departments. Receiving all F&B bookings from guests via email/phone calls and keep F&B team informed for preparation. HR-related tasks: making weekly/monthly timesheet of F&B department and other paperwork such as staff recruitment/ resignation/promotion requests, performance assessment, contract extension, etc. Finance-related tasks: making payment/advance payment requests and making the upselling report of F&B staff. Purchasing-related tasks: making Purchase requisitions (PR) for F&B daily stock and all operating supplies and equipment by using the ERP system; coordinating with Purchasing staff to follow up the status of all PRs to ensure the on-time deliveries, quantities and qualities of all the supplies. Engineering-related tasks: sending maintenance requests and following up. Marketing-related tasks: sending requests for content design and double-checking the spelling mistakes and format of all menus and flyers/standees. Making monthly reports of guests’ feedback to submit to F&B Manager. Making a summary of monthly/quarterly/yearly stock/asset inventory of F&B department to submit to F&B Manager. Assisting F&B Manager with paperwork, taking meeting minutes, attending meetings with/ for him during his absence. Other tasks assigned by Food & Beverage Manager. Event coordination: be responsible for organizing small-sized events for guests and internal events of Naman Retreat. Receiving orders from guests, giving them quotation and handling all their requests. Coordinating with related departments as well as working with outsourcing suppliers to prepare for the event including food and beverage, decoration, entertainment, equipment, etc. Issuing the Banquet Event Order via e-mail to all related departments and staff, and working closely with them to ensure everything is done on schedule and properly. Following up from the beginning until the end of the event to make sure things will go smoothly without any flaws. Acting as a representative of Naman Retreat to handle all questions and issues from guests if any. Finishing all the payment with guests and suppliers after the event finishes. Receiving bookings and arranging seating plan for guests during Christmas and New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner of each year. Liaising between F&B and other departments to set up internal events of Naman Retreat such as staff activities, meetings, site inspection, etc. In charge of internal events of F&B department, for example, monthly staff birthday party, staff outing, Doing other tasks assigned by F&B Manager.
