To shortly introduce myself, I am a dedicated and self-driven individual with a motivation to succeed and perform excellent work. These are however qualities that describe many people. What sets me apart are my unique experiences which allow me to bring new perspective and creativity to the team. Living and working in The Netherlands was an eye-opening experience which had given me an opportunity to learn about the diverse pallet of cultures. I spent my internship with Marriott Amsterdam Hotel and my first post-grad full- time job with Sheraton Schiphol Airport Hotel. I have seen different ways of doing things and am the most comfortable in dynamic and multicultural environments. This cross-cultural experience only fuels my determination to bridge gaps and connect with audiences across countries and even continents. I am not afraid of challenges and in fact enjoy situations that push me to new heights. Despite of my limited professional managerial experience, I have the ability to lead, motivate and communicate effectively. During group projects in university, I always naturally took charge and initiated brainstorming of ideas and delegating tasks. In addition, I had taken on the role of presenting our projects numerous times and introduced our ideas to professors and business partners. During my time in Sheraton Schiphol Airport Hotel, I had been assigned training tasks as soon as my second month of working. The training I provided for our interns as well as new colleagues were highly regarded by my superiors. Additionally, I was always willing to offer my assistance to my supervisors and manager which I considered to be a great opportunity to learn more about the hotel and the industry. As I was giving guidance and starting to take on new tasks, I was excited and extremely motivated to learn more as well as take on new responsibilities within the hotel industry.
