My key responsibilities: Conducted tendering processes, prepared contracts, and led price and commercial negotiations with suppliers. Built and maintained strong working relationships with suppliers, hotel owners, and internal stakeholders. Led and supervised a procurement team of 4 members, ensuring efficient task allocation and performance monitoring. Managed purchasing activities to ensure purchase orders met committed lead times. Controlled and managed company assets in coordination with relevant departments. Evaluated supplier performance and capabilities to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and service standards. Monitored procurement budgets and supported cost control initiatives. Ensured procurement activities complied with internal policies and Marriott brand standards.
