Main responsibilities: - Organize, manage, and monitor the daily operations of the Front Office Department. - Introduce and promote hotel products and services; respond to customer inquiries via phone and email. - Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner. - Welcome delegations and VIP guests. - Take charge of group bookings, including check-in and check out procedures; coordinate with group organizers to meet customer requirements. - Collaborate with the Sales and Accounting Departments to prepare and update Proforma Invoices for accommodation and other group-related services. - Manage cash and card transactions at the Front Desk; handle issues related to card payments between the customer’s bank and the hotel’s bank in accordance with agreed policies. - Issue VAT invoices and resolve any related issues after guest check-out. - Implement training programs and tools at the Front Desk to optimize room availability, revenue, pricing, and sales strategies to maximize occupancy. - Communicate and report regularly to the Front Office Manager on daily operations. - Participate in daily and monthly departmental meetings to review performance, share updates, and propose service improvements for both customers and employees. - Support training plans; mentor new hires by guiding them through departmental tasks, and evaluate their performance upon completion of the probation period before reporting to the Front Office Manager. - Maintain close collaboration with other department leaders to enhance cross-training, feedback, and operational efficiency.
