BEFORE work as an employee of Villa Song Saigon, my target in then internship is to get the sense of a five-star working environment, to gain more hands-on experience and knowledge of the industry, explore my other skills suitable for the field and especially build strong relationship with people in the hospitality network. After finding out about myself interested in engaging with guests, i decide flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Moreover, I applied my resume on https://www.hoteljob.vn/. After that, I searched information of VSS (Villa Song Saigon) on https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g293925-d1554688-Reviews-Villa_Song_Saigon-Ho_Chi_Minh_City.html, read the reviews and finding price of their rooms. I decided to choose VSS because they serve more than 80% of foreign guests and it is very fortunate because I am very interested in learning about countries around the world. Serve customers with high demand, giving customers the feeling of being in their own home. WHILE working in VSS, I have achieved my expectations when practicing internship here. Professional, dedicated, courtesy to customers that VSS employees do immensely. I can see clearly that the training of VSS staff is top priority. Not only employees but also customers at VSS are friendly and affectionate. Although some unfortunate things happened, VSS still handled it thoroughly and was loved by customers. Beside that, this is my first time in Ho Chi Minh City, meeting new colleagues, new working environments and local languages. That prompted me to learn more and see that the Saigonese were very “healthy”, rustic and simple.
