Key responsibilities: 1. Staff Management & Operations Oversight - Department manning and full responsibility for staffing across all recreation outlets: swimming pools, beach zones, gym, yoga room, and kids club, movie cinema under star. - Directly manage 12 staff members in pool and beach areas, 4 kids club attendants & 3 Entertainment, including daily supervision, scheduling, performance evaluation, and maintaining high team morale.. - Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for lifeguard operations and recreation activities across all outlets. - Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Medical teams for day-to-day operations and emergency responses. - Inspect and report technical issues and coordinate with Engineering for maintenance and safety compliance. 2. Training & Safety - Conduct regular training for team members on: + Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR. + Identifying and responding to rip currents and water-related emergencies -Lead drowning rescue drills and implement daily physical training to enhance staff readiness and skill. - Organize periodic emergency drills to improve staff responsiveness in real-life scenarios. - Perform skills assessments to ensure all lifeguards meet professional safety and performance standards. 3. Sports & Guest Activities - Plan, supervise, and operate a variety of beach and water activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), snorkeling, beach volleyball, and beach badminton etc… — ensuring safety and high-quality guest experience. - Design and conduct wellness and fitness sessions for guests and staff including: o Yoga: Hatha, Vinyasa, Ball Yoga, Stick Yoga, Mat Yoga o Pilates: Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Resistance Band, Wunda Chair, Barrel o Tai Chi, Stretching, Foam Rolling, Hiking, Meditation -Develop seasonal activity programs for adults and children, aligned with holidays and peak periods. - Brief guests on safety protocols before all activities and ensure compliance throughout participation. 4. Events & Guest Experience - Work directly with music and event vendors to curate customized soundtracks and stage experiences. - Organize high-impact events such as year-end countdowns, fire dance shows, live music performances, acoustic nights, fireworks displays, and violin/guitar acts. - Oversee costume selection, schedule coordination, and execution for all entertainment programs, ensuring 5-star presentation and guest satisfaction. 5. Equipment & Budget Management - Prepare OS&E procurement lists and coordinate with purchasing to source suitable equipment for each outlet. - Oversee maintenance and inventory of recreation and safety equipment (e.g., buoys, life vests, first aid kits, SUPs, kayaks, bicycles, etc.). - Conduct monthly and annual inventories in collaboration with the Finance department. - Manage departmental budget; propose training investments, equipment upgrades, and service improvements. - Benchmark service pricing with market competitors and propose optimal rates for premium services like private yoga, Pilates, baby services, SUP, and more.
