Mô tả công việc

Assist in managing all Bar employees. To lead by example, assist H.O.D. in building an effective team, direction, coordination and evaluation of department. Ensuring appropriate professional standards of behaviour, work standards, productivity, practices and customer care are enforced. Main Responsibilities • Be an excellent barista and strive for the best possible coffee. • Have a can do proactive approach to both the team and the service from the bar. • Understand and lead the team in the making and service of coffee with the support of Lavazza Coffee. • Be the go to team member for Lavazza and set the standard for the bar team. • To report to work in good time, clean and wearing the correct uniform. Demonstrate a high level of personal hygiene and ensure the whole team adheres to it as well. • To perform all tasks to a consistent and correct standard as per Standard Operational Procedures Manual. • Welcome and greet all guests in a friendly, professional and sincere manner following company standards. Follow up on guest satisfaction and make guests feel comfortable. • Deal with complaints appropriately and report them to the manager. • Ensure all customer requests are responded to promptly and effectively. • Be aware of any shortfalls in standards and to bring them immediately to the attention of your manager and correct them. • Maintain operational standards as set by your head of department and the company. • Ensure the bar is operating in an efficient, clean and logical manor. • Check the events happening in your department on a daily basis – plan ahead to assist the next shift team. • To promote a helpful image to clients and give full co-operation to any customer requiring assistance with out a prompt, caring and helpful attitude and to anticipate customer’s needs whenever possible, to enhance quality service and in turn enhance client satisfaction. • To give full co-operation to any colleagues requiring assistance in a friendly and helpful manner. • To maintain effective communication within the team and to attend meetings and training sessions when required. • To order daily beverage, dry store and stationary stock. • To liaise with Manager/Purchasing Manager for requisitions and stock levels. • Train and coach in a systematic and professional away to consistently achieve service standards and product delivery with a focus on coffee • To ensure a complete knowledge by the whole team of food and beverage service techniques, all menus, drinks lists and cocktails offered in the Bar and served to correct standards. • Know how to use all equipment and systems in your department. • Clean as you go, ensuring both public areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and that staff adheres to departmental cleaning schedules. Spot check on a daily basis. • Follow a logical order or service: understand the requirements of the shift so that guests are served quickly and effectively. • Comply with the Rota system to departmental standards and ensure sufficient staffing is guaranteed according to business levels. • Understand the aims of the restaurant and your department. • Offer support to new team members and train them to the correct standards. • Put forward ideas for improving the service standard and profitability of the restaurant. • Encourage extra sales to guests at every opportunity and ensure the staff are prompted to sell as well. • Follow guidelines regarding the control of waste in your department. • Be aware of security and lost property procedures and report anything suspicious to management. • Be prepared to assist in other departments and carry out other reasonable tasks and responsibilities outside normal routine but within the overall scope of the job as deemed necessary by management.
