JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for serving of food and beverage orders to guests in the hotel according to Marriott standard procedures and policies. Aid supervisors in daily operational tasks.

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS

• Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.

• Adhere to the standard personal appearance, hygiene and sanitation.

• Sets trays and tables according to the Room Service standard set-ups.

• Prepare necessary linen, china ware, glasses, silver wares and other equipment for use in the Room Service.

• Follow the Use Records set for each item served.

• Implements the "Clean as you go" policy at all times.

• Places and picks up orders in the kitchen.

• Set up orders and deliver to rooms.

• Always reminds guest for approximate time to call-up back Room Service for removal of soiled and used dishes.

• Check corridors and retrieve trays when returning from taking orders.

• Clean and break down trays in dish area.

• Correctly use the Point of Sales equipment and follow procedures.

• Follow and observes accident and prevention programme of the company.

• Print out the orders on checks

• Close the checks and complete the check summary

• Complete all daily and weekly-assigned side-work.

• Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies.

• Follow hotel control audit standards and cash handling procedures
