People

• Direct/Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers

• Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues

• Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect

• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments

• Recommend or initiate any HR elated actions where needed

• Support and administer an annual team member satisfaction survey

• Educate and train managers on HR disciplines to foster productivity, and enhance performance

• Welcome and conduct new team member orientation

• Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees

• Ensure hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed

• Build great relations with outside contacts

Financial

• Help create the department’s annual budget and the setting of departmental goals

• Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on manning/labour costs, salary and benefits related (accommodation, transport, healthcare….ect)

• Mitigate financial risks associated with employee relations issues

• Identify and analyse local compensation and benefits practices to ensure financial competitiveness.

Responsible Business

• Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community and promote team member involvement in local community

• Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, policies and procedures

• Conduct annual HR compliance/standards self-audit

• Research and investigate all workplace issues to discover facts, identify potential risks to the hotel or company, and facilitate resolution through your employee relations programmes. Escalate serious issues

• Collect and maintain data from exit interviews, turnover statistics, absenteeism reports to identify trends, training needs, and supervisory issues

• Manage performance management system

• In a union environment, may manage labour relations and represent the hotel in grievances, mediations, arbitrations and contract negotiation

• May also serve as manager on duty (MOD) on request.

• May assist with other duties as assigned by management

Guest Experience

• Develop creative ways to inspire and motivate team members to provide guests with a unique experience

• Work with department managers to develop initiatives to reach service standards and drive continuous improvement in the guest experience.

Yêu cầu công việc

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

2. Service years in the field: 2 years related experience in Human Resources Manager, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3. Service years in manager level: 1-2 years prefered

4. Knowledge and skills:

 Ability to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible in all HR related matters

 Experience in managing company provided accommodation

 Good Communication skills and writing skills

 Knowledge of Local Labour and Employment Regulations.

 Problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

5. Language: Fluent English

6. Preferred (if required):Some college courses in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field preferred.
