Basic Functions:
Responsible for all aspects of the resort including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment to the ownership.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leading heads of departments and teams in the development and implementation of all hotel strategies.
- Being in charge of operations, budget, hiring, and policy of the resort
- Ensuring the implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives and policies and procedures with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
- Is highly visible and interfacing with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction.
- Analyzing service issues and identifies trends. Facilitates the development of creative solutions to overcome obstacles and ensures implementation to continually improve guest satisfaction results.
- Hiring heads of departments and other team members who demonstrate strong functional expertise, creativity and entrepreneurial leadership to meet the business needs of the resort.
- Continuously check the quality and standards of culinary and service at The Restaurant
- Ensure the The Restaurant at all times, adheres to all policies set out by the owners in regards to the freshness of the products, naturally sourced, MSG and artificial ingredients not used in the kitchen unless those pre-approved
- Creating appropriate development plans and develops heads of departments and other team members based on their individual strengths, development needs, career aspirations and abilities.
- Setting goals and expectations for heads of departments and other team members. Coaches team by providing specific feedback to improve performance.
- Ensuring service, technical skills and leadership training occurs throughout all departments to support successful daily operations.
- Ensuring that regular on-going communication takes place throughout all departments to recognize performance, set expectations and create awareness of business objectives.
- Ensuring policies are administered fairly and consistently in all departments.
- Reviewing sales goals and strategies to ensure alignment with the resort business strategy and proper pricing and positioning of the resort in the market.
- Suggesting innovative marketing ideas and proactively develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share.
- Coaching and supporting teams to effectively manage occupancy and rate, wages and controllable expenses. Strives to maintain profit margins without compromising guest or employee satisfaction.
- Identifying opportunities to increase profits and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and driving necessary changes.
- Working closely with the General Manager / Managing Director or Owners in order to be effective
- Understanding owner’s perspective. Manages an effective balance between the owner’s interests and company’s interests and develops solutions that create value for both.
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
