Mô tả công việc

Responsible to Chief Steward for the overall supervision of the section, supervising and coordinating activities of the steward personnel; participate in their activities.

Check the daily event order for the various parties; organize and prepare the relevant mise-en-place

Plan a daily “Things to do” list and carry this out.

Ensure cleanliness of work areas, performance of staff conformance to establish procedures and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Supervising at all times, the effective running of the Stewarding section.

Compiling the working schedules, employing the casual.

Working closely with Chief Steward.

Supervise storage, maintenance and preparation of the tableware and other equipment for issuance to outlets and functions, coordinating with other F&B section regarding their requirements.

Receive instructions for Steward from Chief Steward, relay information to shift-leader and check to see efficiency.

Following-up on all assigned work programmed

Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time

Yêu cầu công việc

1. Education:

Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field.

2. Service years in the field :

5 years related experience including.

3. Service years in supervisor/manager level:

At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

4. Knowledge and skills:

Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.

Having knowledge about food safety and hygiene

Food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by a local government agency.

Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

5. Language: English in communication

6. Preferred (if required)

Interacts with guests and individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to, current and potential clients, owning company representatives, suppliers, competitors, and other members of the local community.
