Overview of Duties / Main Responsibilities
• Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying the brand mindset
• Promote the hotel in his/her assigned area/territory and to achieve optimal sales at the best possible conditions for the company to update with the market
• The performance of the Director of Sales & Marketing will be determined solely by the productiveness of whole Sales department as well as the overall results of the hotel
• Ensure the smooth running operation of the commercial section
Customer relations
• Develop and foster good rapport with the public, clients and members of the trade in an effort to ensure and promote a good image of the hotel.
• Translates the Ibis Styles mindset to guests, embodying sociability and proximity.
• Entertains supporting and prospective clients when necessary in order to maintain or develop a long-lasting and growing relationship.
• Maintains regular contacts with his/her clients and report any adverse comments to the 
Professional techniques / Production
• Responsible for managing the hotel’s reactive, proactive, sales and public relations channels
• Implement the hotel brand strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the
sales and marketing process and focuses on building long – term, valued – based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotels’ top line revenue objectives
• Manage digital contents for hotel and the marketing budget to enable development of hotel specific campaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet hotel objectives
Commercial / Sales/Marketing
• Keeps himself/herself well informed about products (lodging, catering and other facilities).
• Ensure all sales advertising and public relations efforts provide optimum profit returns.
• Forecasts future travel patterns and provided trade feedback to the management.
• Implements policies and procedures as directed by the General Manager.
• Closely observes matters pertaining to competition (site, prices, services offered on a regular basis, quarterly or more often as needed).
• Sets, in conjunction with the General Manager, the current rates of the hotel.
• Identify business potential and upkeeps close contact with former and potential clients through personal visits, phone calls and correspondence in view of entering into contracts with them, especially with corporate accounts.
• Ensure the availability of after-sales services and, in particular, concerns him/herself with clients who have registered complaints.
• Set GOALs, assign to team, monitors and supervises his/her team’s production and activities to archive target
• Ensure that the sales team meet clients requirement and that the client service offered corresponds effectively to their requests. in the event of complaints made by clients, should the need arise, to avail him/herself as mediator between the hotel and clients &guests.
