What You’ll Do

Guest Reception

• Welcome guests at the main entrance of the restaurant.
• Remember loyal customers and greet them by name to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Open the door, bow to greet guests, and thank them when they leave.

Reservation Handling

• Ask for reservation details, verify the information, and guide or escort guests to their correct seats.
• Report the table status (available or occupied) to the manager at the beginning of each shift.
• Coordinate with restaurant service departments to ensure guests are served promptly, without unnecessary waiting.
• Clearly and accurately answer any questions from guests within your knowledge. If unsure, help connect them with someone who can provide accurate answers.
• Recommend drinks or signature dishes based on the guest’s preferences.

Other Duties

• Keep the entrance and reception area clean and tidy.
• Propose ideas to improve the restaurant’s service quality.
• Report any incidents in the restaurant to the manager.
• Hand over duties to the next shift staff.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

What You’ll bring us

• Previous experience as hostess at restaurants or cafés
• Passionate about the hospitality and F&B industry
• Polite, courteous, and able to communicate well with both guests and colleagues
• Good English communication skills
• Physically fit and flexible to work in shifts
• Positive and optimistic attitude at work
• High sense of responsibility
• Able to work under pressure and willing to commit long-term to the company
