Mô tả công việc



• Effective coverage of Sofit and Le Spa

• Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures Manual.

• Maintain inventory of supplies for the administration of the reception.

• Maintain accurate records as required by provincial regulations.

• Attend weekly/monthly spa departmental communication meetings conduct by Spa Cordinator / Spa Manager and le spa team.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally and channelled to appropriate for assistance.

Follow the Sofitel Standard.

• Greet guests in a friendly, smiley face and professional manner.

• Handle all Spa services’ booking and make booking arrangement accordingly.

• Escort guest to Spa Lounge at first floor.

• Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the Spa services and facilities.

• Provide information and literature of facility in person and via telephone.

• Control entry into all areas of facility by restricting all un-authorised individuals.

• Collect moneys or other suitable payment from clients for all services rendered.

• Treatment bookings and arrangement

• Exercise thorough knowledge of opening and closing procedures.

• Conduct Spa tours if required.

• Ensure smooth operation of Spa receptions

• Respond to inquiries by phone and in person, providing complete details of all Spa aspects.

• Handle special assignments and secretarial duties if require

• Upsell sales package, retail following the Sofitel Spa concept.

• Maintain the guest profile (Fidelio).

• Assist in the administration and implementation of staff training in reception operations i.e. business telephone usage, Guest relations, Spa treatments (massage, scrub, facial, etc.), retail sales.

• Assist in the operation of all spa departments:

- Sofit operation

- Spa operation

- Retail product

• Maintain inventory and stocking of all reception materials and retails products unexpired.

• Follow the Sofitel Telephone Etiquette Standards

• Follow the Sofitel guideline, 7 keys of Luxury and 3 Sofitel Values.

• Key persons for the retails.

Financial and Revenue Responsibilities

• Maintain the receptions in peak condition at all times while adhering to all aspects of the operations budget.

• Maintain accurate accounting procedures for cash transactions and reconcile all transactions at the end of the work shift.

• Maintain Micros rate, controlling the prices are correct.

Training and Human Resources Management

• Be understanding hotel regulation and master all knowledge in Staff manual

• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Guest Service Responsibilities

• To ensure the facility is in peak condition at all times (operations and cleanliness).

• To ensure guest satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the Spa's first priority.

• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


• All ambassadors are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances.

• All ambassadors may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required by business levels.


Health and Safety

• Ensure that all potential and real Hazards are reported immediately and rectified

• Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire, Emergency and Bomb procedures

• Ensure that all emergency procedures are rehearsed, implemented and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees

• Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying Hotel Regulations by strict adherence to existing laws, statutes etc.

• Ensure all staff within the department work in a manner which is safe and unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to selves or others

To be fully conversant with:

• Hotel fire procedures

• Hotel security procedures

• Hotel Health and Safety policy and procedures

• Hotel Facilities and attractions

• Hotel standards of operation and departmental procedures

• Sofitel Keys of Luxury and Appearance guidelines

• Sofitel “BE Magnifique” vision and its corresponding strategies

• Methods of accepted payment of the company

• Short and long term company marketing promotions
