Mô tả công việc

1.     Purpose: We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef General Manager to organize the kitchen’s activities and drive the business. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.

 

2.     Main responsibilities:

 

a.     As Head Chef:

-        Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities

-        Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings

-        Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer

-        Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages

-        Arrange for repairs when necessary

-        Remedy any problems or defects

-        Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff

-        Oversee the work of subordinates

-        Estimate staff’s workload and compensations

-        Maintain records of payroll and attendance

-        Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

-        Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

 

b.    As General Manager:

-        Builds company image and run business by collaborating with customers, community organizations, and employees.

-        Creates and maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

-        Inform employees of new policies and procedures and ensure that current policies and procedures are being followed

-        Provide exemplary customer service including the handling of customer complaints if/when they arise.

-        Hire, train, promote, motivate and discipline employees

-        Responsible for local outreach to neighboring businesses, coordinated with marketing and partners

-        Responsible for setting up inventory management

-        Supervise product ordering and receipt of goods.

-        Managing content for social media and field all questions on Facebook page.

-        Work very closely with marketing team to drive traffic and develop the business

-        Very importantly, General Manager would also be responsible for a great deal of the sourcing and development of product for our concept, especially in F&B industry.

Yêu cầu công việc

-        Experience: At least 5-year experience working in Restaurant as Head Chef with Management skills. Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress

-        Skills: Fluent English communication, good at Excel, teamwork, Powerful leading skills and business orientation, strong organizational, good communication and interpersonal. Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)

-        Quality: Hard working, dynamic, honest, high sense of responsibility, ability to work under high pressure.

-        Others: Willing to work at weekend or on an extra time when issues arise
