GENERAL MANAGER (Premier Village Hạ Long - Quảng Ninh)

Oversees all aspects of Premier Village Ha Long in accordance with SHG mission, including maximization of financial performance, day to day operation to adherence to standards of product and service, management of human resources, and Sales & Marketing strategy

1. Pre – Opening

- Work very closely with CEO of SHG and Board of Committee to establish operations and ensure that SHG vision and brand standards are met

- Develop PVHL SOPs in reference to SHG guidance

- Assisting in the design of PVHL activities and food and beverage offerings

- Manage the procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and contracting with third-party vendors for essential services

- Hiring staffs and establish training programs fit to each department according to brand standards

- Launch PVHL both soft and hard opening the procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and contracting with third-party vendors for essential services

2. Operation

- Chair meeting with HODs on daily operation activities.

- Oversee the operations functions of the hotel, as per the Organizational chart

- Ensure full compliance to operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.

- Monitoring customer satisfaction, through review of standardized feedback forms, and just as importantly by spending time directly with the guests and ensuring their needs are being met and expectations exceeded

- Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures

- Maintain a pleasant atmosphere for the customers keeping in mind the product spirit and in coordination with the advice services of the technical management.

- Keeps in perfect functioning shape all assets and equipment by establishing a preventive maintenance program and forecast investment describe in the budget

3. Finance and Commercial

- Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget

- Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.

- Maximizing room yield and resort revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs

- Continuously update with market information and trends to react with changes in the market.

- Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.

- Specially care towards the cash flow by keeping the account receivable as low as possible as well as a minimum stock.

- A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies

- Public relation of PVHL to the local market

4. Human Resource:

- Responsible for the staff turnover planning, recruitment of head ofdepartments with the approval of the CEO off SHG and all the employees of the hotel with the advice of HODs.

- Manage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and development.

- Approve of job descriptions and KPIs to each HODs

- Ensures that the information flow reaches all levels of hierarchy

quantitatively and qualitatively

5. Administrative and Legal

- Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.

- Responsible for the application of laws on the fields of process, human being security and safety, labor, protection of customers, etc.

- Responsible for the proper maintenance of all administrative and legal documents

6. Others

- Reporting to CEO and Chairman office on a regular basis per request

- To coordinate with Chairman offices to execute tasks assigned by Chairman and CEO

- Uniform, accommodation & meals are provided

- Received bonus for sale volume performance

- Received full support from other manager level and company board of director

- Bachelor degree or above in Hospitality Management or related field such as Finance, Economic, Business Administrative.

- At least 3 year Experience in General Manager position including opening, managing or re-positioning an international 5 star hotel/resort with clear track record.

- At least 10 year experience in the hospitality industry, with significant luxury and international experience, preferred in Asia

2. Skills

- Outstanding, management skills and extensive hands-on experience

- Excellent English skills in both verbal and written communication

- Excellent presentation skill as a brand Ambassador to customers, employees and clients
