Team Leader - Public Area Attendant

• Logs daily events in Supervisor’s Logbook and follow-up on information reported by the other Supervisors daily.
• Raises job order to Engineering department for repair and maintenance work
• Provide exceptional services to guests and internal customers at all times to maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
• Conducts pre shift briefing and ensures that all pertinent information for the day is disseminated.
• Assigns duties and responsibilities to Housekeeping Attendants.
• Reports and follow-up guest comments, repairs or maintenance work..
• Conducts checks on Public Areas and works carried out by Contractors, .
• Coordinates and inspects with Contractor’s Supervisor on work carried out by Contractors.
• Plans and schedules periodic works such as, carpet shampooing, and high dusting.
• Submits requisitions for cleaning supplies, guest supplies and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage, issues, inspects, and controls all cleaning products and equipment.
• Ensure regular servicing of all equipment.
• Liaises closely with Florists regarding floral arrangement in the hotel.
• Reports missing and damaged hotel property.
• Reports and handles all Lost & Found items as per Hotel “Lost and Found’ policy
• Ensures the punctuality and appearance of all Housekeeping Attendants.

• Highschool/College/University degree or equivalent
• Previous training and experience in hospitality would be preferred
• Be responsible and able to work under pressure
• Good communications
• Good level of spoken and written English
